Interactive Hands-On Lifestyle Cooking Classes

Classes are hands-on and interactive. Each lesson starts at 6.30pm and lasts about 3 hours. We cover 5-7 different recipes and what we make is eaten during the class. Just bring along something to drink and a pen to write with. The cost is R250/person (which includes the meal).

The Fusion Cooking School teaches a quick, easy and healthy approach to cooking that draws on the very best of global cuisines and focuses on the creative use of herbs and spices. This naturally lends itself towards a low fat, high fibre, vitamin rich, enzyme abundant, non-refined food style.

While other cooking schools focus mainly on training chefs, the focus of this school is also to train the everyday person to adopt a new healthier way of eating by using many of the exciting cooking styles from around the world and blending the very best of the various global cuisines into a fun, healthy, every-day lifestyle eating experience.

The fusion style breaks with the traditional western cooking style where vegetables are often only seen as a side dish to the meat or fish. Rather, the fusion cooking style uses meat and fish to compliment the centrality of the vegetables - focusing on the nutritious and creative use of vegetables, herbs and spices.
